Open Positions
We are constantly on the lookout for talented individuals to join our team in various roles. Below are some of the positions we may be hiring for:
- Caregiver
- Job Description: As a caregiver at Liha, you will be responsible for providing direct care to our participants. This includes assisting with activities of daily living, providing companionship, and ensuring the comfort and safety of participants.
- Qualifications: Experience in caregiving or a related field preferred. Must have a compassionate and patient demeanor and be able to work with diverse populations.
- Responsibilities:
- Assist participants with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor participants’ health and report any concerns to nursing staff.
- Engage participants in social activities and offer companionship.
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Job Description: The Registered Nurse will oversee the health and medical needs of participants, administer medications, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop care plans.
- Qualifications: Active RN license, CPR certification, and experience in geriatric or adult day care settings preferred.
- Responsibilities:
- Administer medications as prescribed.
- Monitor health conditions and provide medical assessments.
- Collaborate with physicians and caregivers to develop and implement care plans.
- Physical Therapist
- Job Description: The Physical Therapist will provide therapeutic services aimed at improving mobility and quality of life for participants. This includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and leading physical therapy sessions.
- Qualifications: A degree in Physical Therapy and a current state license to practice.
- Responsibilities:
- Develop personalized treatment plans for participants.
- Provide therapy sessions and track progress.
- Educate participants on exercises to improve mobility and strength.
- Occupational Therapist
- Job Description: As an Occupational Therapist, you will assist participants in developing or recovering the skills needed for daily living. This includes addressing physical, emotional, and social challenges.
- Qualifications: A degree in Occupational Therapy and a current state license to practice.
- Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate the needs of participants.
- Create treatment plans to help participants regain or develop daily living skills.
- Work with participants and caregivers to improve overall function and quality of life.
- Speech Therapist
- Job Description: The Speech Therapist will assist participants in improving communication, cognitive function, and swallowing. You will work with individuals who have speech or language difficulties due to aging or medical conditions.
- Qualifications: A degree in Speech Therapy and current state licensure.
- Responsibilities:
- Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop individualized therapy plans.
- Provide therapy sessions to improve communication and cognitive skills.
- Activity Coordinator
- Job Description: The Activity Coordinator will plan and organize engaging activities that promote mental, emotional, and physical well-being for participants. This includes social events, therapeutic exercises, and creative projects.
- Qualifications: Experience in event planning or recreational therapy is preferred.
- Responsibilities:
- Develop and organize a variety of recreational and therapeutic activities.
- Coordinate with caregivers and medical staff to ensure activities meet the needs of participants.
- Foster a fun, engaging, and social environment for participants.
- Transportation Driver
- Job Description: The Transportation Driver will safely transport participants to and from the Adult Day Health Care Center, ensuring their comfort and safety during the ride.
- Qualifications: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Must be able to assist individuals with mobility challenges.
- Responsibilities:
- Transport participants safely to and from the center.
- Assist participants with boarding and exiting the vehicle.
- Ensure the vehicle is maintained and clean.
